WELCOME TO THE

I POLISH-LITHUANIAN BUSINESS FORUM IN KUYAVIA & POMERANIA!


We invite you to attend the inaugural edition of an international Forum organized by the Kuyavian and Pomeranian Voivodeship and the Honorary Consulate of Lithuania in Toruń in cooperation with the Embassy of Lithuania in Poland.

The Forum, set to take place in Bydgoszcz, aims to:

  • Facilitate networking opportunities among entrepreneurs, experts, and business entities from Poland and Lithuania.
  • Enhance mutual comprehension of market demands in both nations through informative presentations and sector-specific discussions.
  • Foster international collaboration via business-to-business meetings.

 


THE FORUM WILL TAKE PLACE ON 26th September 2024 in Bydgoszcz.

During the Forum we will share presentations on business ecosystems in our region and show how to effectively search for partners in Poland.

After the opening session, we will move to sectoral panels, where entrepreneurs from the same business sector will have the chance to present their companies and explain market demands in their countries.

Lastly, based on prior and in-event matchings, there will be a B2B meeting session.

  • Welcome address by the organizers
  • Opening speech by the representee of the Lithuanian Government/Lithuanian Embassy
  • Introduction to the objectives of the Forum

8:45 am - 9:30 am: Keynote Address - Policy Making and Bilateral Relations:

  • Presentation by Lithuanian and Polish government officials on policies affecting bilateral trade and cooperation
  • Presentation by Polish-Lithuanian business intuitions on their role in supporting bilateral trade and their current offer
  • Special presentation by key Lithuanian Partner to the Forum (topic: Innovation)

9:30 am - 10:15 am: Geopolitical Dynamics in the Region:

  • Panel discussion featuring experts from Lithuania, Poland, and international organizations
  • Analysis of geopolitical challenges and opportunities impacting business in the Baltic and Pomeranian regions
  • Exploration of strategies for enhancing regional stability and cooperation

10:15 am - 10:45 am: Coffee Break

10:30 am - 11:30 am: Kuyavia & Pomerania – local opportunities

  • Presentation on investment opportunities, special economic zones by regional authorities and representatives of the municipalities of Bydgoszcz and Toruń, the region’s co-capitals
  • Presentation on the profile of regional SMEs and local champions
  • Special presentation by key Polish Regional Partner to the Forum (topic: IT and cybersecurity)

11:30 am - 12:00 pm: Q&A Session and Summary of the Morning Session

  • Open floor for questions from the audience
  • Summary of key takeaways from the morning sessions
  • Announcement of upcoming networking lunch and B2B meetings

Afternoon Session: B2B Meetings

Place: Local restaurant Monka, meeting rooms at Rother’s Mills

12:00 pm - 1:30 pm: Networking Lunch

  • Informal networking session for participants to interact and exchange contacts

1:30 pm - 4:30 pm: B2B Meetings and Matchmaking Sessions

  • Pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings between Lithuanian and Polish businesses
  • Facilitated matchmaking sessions and sectoral panels (representatives of Forum partners will heading those panels)
  • Opportunities for forging new partnerships, exploring collaborations, and discussing potential business ventures

4:30 pm - 5:00 pm: Closing Remarks and Networking

  • Summary of the day's discussions and outcomes
  • Expression of gratitude to participants, speakers, and sponsors
  • Invitation to continue networking informally over refreshments
